“The Making and Development of my Yorkshire Garden” with Martin Walker

A welcome return visit from the former Head Gardener at York Gate with an update on his own garden project.

Martin has worked in horticulture for over 40 years, now in retirement he is creating a garden from scratch on a 2.5 acre plot in North Yorkshire, gathering together ideas from a lifetime of visiting gardens.

With influences such as Sissinghurst, Great Dixter, Beechgrove Farmhouse near York and Wollerton Old Hall we look forward to hearing how he has fared since his last visit to us in 2019.
