Another of our popular virtual garden visits.

This time to see Christine in her village garden in Northumberland.

Christine moved to Acklington in 1995, the back garden is in two sections separated by a Laurel hedge.  She gardens on dry, very sandy, free draining soil.  Her interest in trees and alpines seem an odd combination, but she somehow manages both.

The small front garden is dominated by a 25year old Betula Utilis var. Jacquemontii, and the narrow area beside the garage is planted with a range of shrubs.
