A long term North East Group member and retired Durham University professor, Brian has hundreds of corydalis, including species from all over the world
His academic research, largely into freshwater algae, involved considerable travel which allowed him to explore his personal interest, corydalis. He holds a national collection accumulated over more than 20 years.
